Store bought taco seasonings are often full of added sodium and thickening agents (aka: chemicals). Homemade seasonings are so easy to make, and when prepared in bulk, can be stored and kept on hand for a few months. This seasoning mix can be used for any dish requiring a smoky and spicy flare.
Servings: 1 – 3 Tbs/dish (more or less depending on your level of spiciness preference)
1 Tbs. = mild; 2 Tbs. = medium; 3 Tbs. = spicy
- Category: Seasonings and Sauces
- 1/4 c chile powder
- 1/4 c cumin
- 1 tbsp. paprika
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. ground pink himalayan salt (optional)
- Combine all ingredients together and blend well. Store in an air-tight container.
